Hi there you wonderful community of artists, teachers, yogis-yoginis, kids, tweens, teens and everyone else who is reading this right now!

I´m here to invite you in a journey. This trip began years ago and now it´s taking a new turn. This feels like a new beginning! And I´m exited to be here at this starting point with all the knowledge and experience that I´ve already gathered along the way. I will be sharing in this blog and on Instagram my experience with this new adventure. Both platforms work as a journal as I´ll be showing you my journey. 

My name in Maite. I´m a graphic artists, teacher, traveler. Daughter of an extraordinary mother and a loving father. Sister of two of the most amazing, profound, kind, deep and authentic souls you´ll ever encounter. I am from Chile and have been living in Barcelona for the past ten years. During these ten years I´ve been an english and art teacher for kids. Role that I came up to by chance. It became a profound and real passion. Any of you that have worked with kids know what I mean! Their energy is full inspiration and it brings deep compromise. I never stopped doing my art though, from graphic design (which is my actual university career) to silk screen printing, illustration, collage, painting and so on. My studio is my heart and soul. Is where I feel the most alive and connected with my deeper purpose. It´s the place in the world that I call home. 

In addition to the english and art teachings now I´m teaching Yoga for kids! This is a dream come true. Dream that I thought was never going to happen finally it did. I built up the courage, quit my job, left my flat and bought a one way ticket to India. I recently finished a 200hrs TTC (Yoga Alliance) in Goa, India. My purpose in learning this is focused specially in kids and I´m more than prepared to teach yoga to adults or a we should called each other grown up kids ;) this will happen eventually as I believe in the community as a whole for change to happen. Let this adventure begin!
